Congratulations: you have finally reached grade 12 and the last compulsory English class of your high school career. We will have a lot of fun this semester, particularly thanks to our satire unit; we will work on developing your critical thinking, culminating in your final argumentative essay that critiques an aspect of our culture; and we will hone your writing skills in order to best prepare you for whateve comes after grade 12!
